Bien-Aime Baraza

Having split from his boyband Sauti Sol in 2023, Bien continued to flourish in his solo career in 2024.

His debut album, Alusa, why are you topless? which was released in November 2023 earned him a nomination in the 2024 South Africa Music Awards (SAMA) under the ‘Rest of Africa’ category.

Narendra Raval

Narendra Raval is a Kenyan industrialist, entrepreneur and philanthropist.



He is the Executive Chairman of the Devki Group of Companies, a conglomerate in East Africa that manufactures steel, aluminum and cement.

Raval is among a few Kenyans who have been featured on the Forbes list. The 60-year-old had an estimated net worth of about Ksh50 billion, according to Forbes 2015 list of Africa’s 50 richest people. Today, he is worth approximately Ksh100 billion.  

Devki Group has become East Africa’s largest construction material company.

Sharon Lokedi

Sharon Lokedi is a Kenyan long-distance runner who takes part in road races.

Lokedi is the 2022 winner of the TSC New York Marathon Race where she finished with a time of 2:23:23.

Prior to the race, the Kenyan athlete did not have any sponsors however, famous sportswear brand Under Armor came to her aid.

According to her coach Stephen Haas, the shoe brand came through for the athlete at a time when she needed competitive footwear for major marathons and races.

Lokedi won the New York Marathon wearing the yet-released 324 Under Armour Velociti Elite shoes.

Evans Chebet

Evans Chebet is a Kenyan long-distance runner who has taken part in various major marathons.

Chebet is both the 2022 Boston and TSC New York Marathon winners.

On April 18, 2022, Chebet won the Boston Marathon in the USA with a time of 2:06:51.

His New York marathon win saw him break down in tears after crossing the finishing line with a time of 2:08:41.

With the wins in Boston and New York, he becomes the first man to win at both marathon events in the same year since 2011.

Kate Actress

Catherine Kamau Karanja popularly known as Kate Actress is a Kenyan award-winning actress.

She is famously known for her role in the Citizen Tv show Mother In-Law where she played the character of Celina.

The character Celina opened doors for her to venture into other acting roles as she has been featured in other films like Sue Na Jonnie (Sue), Disconnect (TK), Plan B (Joyce) and Nafsi (Shiko).

Her role in the Netflix film Nafsi, saw her win the award for the best actress in Film at the third edition of the Women in Film Awards (WiFA).

Tony Kinyanjui (Exray)

Tony Kinyanjui popularly known by his stage name ‘Exray’ is a Kenyan Genge tone Artist.

He is also a member of a rap group known as Boondocks Gang.

Exray is popularly known for his hit song Sipangwingwi which was also used by President William Ruto during his presidential campaign.

The original song where he featured Mario TJ Kasela (Trio Mio) and Sylvia Saru (Ssaru) gained over eight million views on YouTube.

He later did a remix with President Ruto for the Kenya Kwanza campaign and the word Sipangwiwi was used as a popular slogan by the same.

Nyamari Ongegu

Nyamari Ongegu popularly known by his stage name Nyashinski is an award-winning Kenyan rapper.

In his early career days, he was one-third of a boy rap group known as Kleptomaniax together with Roba (Robert Manyasa) and Collo (Collins Majale).

Nyashinski took a break from music in 2006 when he moved to the USA to become a truck driver but made his comeback in 2016.

In 2022, the rapper launched his famous concert dubbed ‘Shin City’, which was first held in April at the Carnivor grounds.

Kennedy Odhiambo

Kennedy Odhiambo, who is popularly known as Crazy Kennar, is a Kenyan content creator who specializes in comical skits and is a brand ambassador as well.

His comical videos on social media have attracted a large local and international following. In November 2022, he travelled to London for Meta creator week representing Sub-Saharan African creators.

During his time in London, he interacted with other content creators including the famous Tik Tok sensation Khaby Lame.

Linet Chepkorir

Linet Chepkorir, popularly known as Linet Toto, is the Bomet County Woman Representative. A graduate of Chuka University, Toto made history by becoming the youngest Woman Representative in the August 9 elections. 

At 24 years of age, Toto outwitted eight fierce candidates to become the third Woman Rep in the county and succeeded Joyce Korir. 

Bien Aime Baraza

Bien Aime Baraza popularly known as Bien is an afro pop musician and a part of the popular group, Sauti Sol with members Savara Mudigi, Willis Chimano and Polycarp Otieno-fancy fingers. 

He is also a co-founder of the record label Sol Generation.

Last year, Bien signed a three-year Ksh50 million deal with Sol Generation Records as a solo artist.
