Dr Belio Kipsang

Dr Belio Kipsang is the Principal Secretary (PS) in charge of Regional and Northern Corridor Development.

He served as the PS for Education before moving to the State Department of Regional Development in February 2022.

Notably, Belio was nominated as the PS for Basic Education by President William Ruto in October 2022.

Peter Tabichi

Peter Tabichi is a teacher at Keriko Mixed Day Secondary School, Nakuru County.

Tabichi made headlines in 2019 after he was recognised as the best teacher in the world after winning the Global Teacher Prize 2019.

He was recognised for giving 80 per cent of his salary to various community programs around the school.

Her firm invented a device that detects crop pests and diseases at an early stage. 

Hellen Wawira Kariuki

Hellen Wawira Kariuki is one of Kenya’s most successful powerlifting athletes.

She was introduced to the sport by ex-Kenyan international Gabriel Magu during a medical check up at the Kijabe Hospital.

Wawira is among the sportspersons who made Kenya proud during the 2022 season.
