Boniface Mwangi

Boniface Mwangi is a human rights activist who founded Power 254 in 2010. A platform that gives artists an opportunity to advocate for social change through their art. 

Mwangi studied journalism at the East African school of journalism and later joined New York University to study Human Rights and Documentary photography.

Linus Kaikai

Linus Kaikai is currently the Director of Strategy and Innovation at Citizen TV and also the Chairman of the Kenya Editors Guild KEG. Kaikai holds a Master's degree in International Journalism from the Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology.

In 2024, Kaikai continued to use his platform to influence, report, and disseminate news to all Kenyans.

He is the Nation Media Group's Editorial Director. Mutuma holds a Bachelor's degree (BA) from Egerton University, a post graduate diploma in Mass Communication from the University of Nairobi and a Master of Arts (MA) from the University of Leeds, UK.

Responsible for all editorial operations across all NMG platforms in Kenya, the veteran journalist has set the pace in digital transformation in the Kenyan media scene.

Mercy Korir

Dr. Mercy Korir is a Health and Science journalist at the Standard Media Group. Korir has a Bachelor's Degree in Medicine and Surgery, and a Master of Arts in Communication Studies, from the University of Nairobi.

Joe Ageyo

The media practitioner has had a 20-year-stellar career at various TV stations in the country. He holds an MSc in Environmental Governance from the University of Manchester, a Bachelor of Agribusiness Management from Egerton University, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication from the University of Nairobi, and a certificate in Advanced Studies in Environmental Diplomacy from the University of Geneva, Switzerland.

Lulu Hassan

Lulu Hassan is a leading Kenyan television news anchor and reporter with Citizen TV.  She hosts Citizen Nipashe and Wikendi news bulletins in Swahili alongside her husband Rashid Abdalla.

She earlier trained as a cabin crew hostess, human resource manager, and ticketing officer after her high school before studying Communication and Journalism.
