Wafula Chebukati

Having amassed over 36 years of experience in legal practice, Wafula Chebukati instantly became a key figure in the country's electoral period due to his role as the chairperson of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC). 

Beyond that, Chebukati is also the president of the Association of the African Election Authorities' General Assembly. 

Noor Gabow

Hailed as one of the most revered security officers, Noor Gabow is the Deputy Inspector General of the Administration Police Service. 

The distinguished officer's vast experience in the role stretches to over three decades. Prior to his current role as the Deputy IG, he served as the Commandant of the Kenya Police College. 

Simon Gicharu

Simon Gicharu is the founder and chairman of Mount Kenya University.

Gicharu is the current chairman of the Water Service Regulatory Board (WSRB), a position which he will hold for the next three years following his appointment by former President Uhuru Kenyatta in August.

Eva Njenga

Dr Eva Njenga is the Chairperson of the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).

She holds a Master of Medicine (MMed) from the University of Nairobi and has certificates in Social Medicine and Medical Anthropology from Havard University. 

Njugush

Kenya’s Top Comedian Njugush, real name Timothy Kimani Ndegwa, is not only a comedian but also a content creator, an influencer, MC and mentor.

From an early age, Njugush developed a passion for acting. After completing high school, he auditioned at the Kenya National Theatre, and this was the first step in the comedian's acting career.

While at the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication, he hosted a reggae show, ENC.

In 2013, Abel Mutua, a screenwriter, cast him in the show Hapa Kule that attracted a lot of attention further adding to Njugush's popularity.

Adelle Onyango

Adelle Onyango worked as a radio presenter at Kiss FM, where she presented the Saturday breakfast show for seven years.

 She had a Saturday evening program where she played African music while still at Kiss FM. 

Onyango quickly became a social media influencer, with her followers calling themselves #TeamAdelle. In 2019, she left Kiss FM.

Shanah Manjeru.

Manjeru is an award winning gospel musician.

At 13 years old, she is currently the youngest AFRIMA awards winner.

This had previously been held by fellow Kenyan songstress, Nikita Kering, who won the award at 17.
